They want Hawgzilla .. Watch the Ch 12 story .. Not a mention of Down East anywhere! Their customers were very supportive of KINSTON boasting their HOG industry and traditions. Down East has no connection to the hog industry except for stopping at King's on our way to Raleigh to get some bbq! We love NC bbq too .. but that's not what we do. We do REAL.LOCAL.SEAFOOD ... stewed shrimp, scallop fritters, baked flounder, clam chowder, fried soft crabs, lightrolls, fig cake ... THAT's what Down East is about! There's not a hog anywhere around here! Thanks King's Restaurant for leading the way ... Go for it .. Kinston Hawgzilla's ! Whatever YOUR town wants ..
