Donald Davidson is the historian at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and has been an integral and beloved part of Indianapolis 500 history since his arrival in 1964.  We, the fans, feel that because of his incredible knowledge of all things about the 500 and goodwill he has generated for the Speedway and 500 Mile Race, he deserves the high honor of giving the the four most famous words at this year's Greatest Spectacle in Racing!
