I guess things happen for a reason. I heard from my specialist's office today and this Thursday can be my last round of chemotherapy before being scheduled for my diagnostic laparoscopy procedure (to make sure I still qualify for the big surgery). If that goes well, it is possible that I will be referred across the border for my big surgery (if Toronto still can not accommodate cancer patients.)

I am so thankful. Keep this petition going strong. No one should have to wait for treatment and Ontario still needs to find a way to treat cancer patients as close to home as possible. Thank you to all who are supporting this cause, I am at a loss for words.
