Hello Everyone,

This week Doug Ford wrote letter asking other provinces for nurses. Ontario nurses are leaving going to rural areas to work for $100 and plus per hour in other provinces. This wave is worse than last year but their is still no COVID incentive pay in Ontario.

The hospital should be paying every nurse top rate right now.

The hospital should be recruiting agency and support nurses at a rate of $100/hr and up. 

America was able to increase nursing supply by giving substantial wage increase to nurses; yet Canada is asking you to work for pre COVID rates and short staff. That is why people are quitting and calling in sick. Ontario nurses are leaving and going to the States.

Please Doug Ford stop insulting nurses and increase COVID work rates and permanent ONA wages.
