Update regarding variants and vaccines

I apologize for a lack of updates everyone, I've been very busy in my personal life. However I'd like to say a few things regarding changes since my last update.

Students in all regions of the province are back in school since February. I'm very glad the Ford government had the courage to do what's right despite many concerns of a third wave. Now, the talk of a third wave within the next month is fuelling new concerns of another school shutdown. Another school shutdown at this moment would be catastrophic for our educators, our students and our families. Despite concerns of new variants, it still remains that with good ventilation, masking, social distancing and asymptomatic testing that outbreaks can be prevented and contained.

It's important to push back against the Ford government from the people of this province to ensure that there will be no school shutdown before the end of the year. But, it is also extremely important to ensure that teachers and educators will but next in line after our most vulnerable to receive vaccination. They are essential workers and it is imperative that before the school year ends the vast majority of in-school workers are vaccinated.
