Hello everyone, We want to thank each and everyone of you who signed our petition. As you can see, we have reached 100,+ signatures. We have been able to get some meetings with state representatives, as we continue to push forward. Monday we had the privilege of being at the House and Senate to watch the legislature vote to make September 2017 Suicide Awareness Month in Arizona! Here is what you can look forward to and hopefully support; we have started a 501(c)(3), The JEM Foundation, (Jake's initials were J.E.M., Jacob Edward Machovsky) to reach those struggling with mental illness, provide support for loved ones that are helping to care for someone with this insidious disease, while we continue to strive for legislative changes. We do this in honor of Jacob. He had an amazing heart, and through JEM, we can help help others. His work on Earth is still not done. He will continue to make a difference in people's lives. Change.org interviewed us and will be publishing an expose in the near future. I have been waiting to submit the petition until Change.org had a chance to submit the interview, but we have a lot of momentum going, and I want to submit the petition while we have the attention of state representatives. Again we thank you for all of your support. We could not have done this without you! Your kind words and encouragement have meant so much. You are all a blessing.
