I wish with every fiber in my being that I could tell you my son lived, and that suicide did not take him. I can't. There will forever be an empty seat at the table, and an empty stocking every Christmas. I will not have the opportunity to celebrate him getting his license, or graduating high school. I will never meet my grandchildren. The world will never meet the amazing man my son was growing up to be. You see, not only were we robbed of his presence, but the world was as well; and I am not alone.
I wanted to share this video to show that suicide and depression do not discriminate. It could be your neighbor struggling, or a family member, or a coworker. Please reach out to those around you; ask them how they are doing, and really listen. Don't be afraid to talk about depression. Let's bring this out of the shadows so that we can keep families together and help people receive the help that they desperately need. Would you please continue to share my petition, we are just over 109,000 signatures! I am so blessed by each and everyone of you. Thank you for your continued support in this fight. I am praying that we reach 200,000 signatures before I send it to the state of Arizona. Will you continue to help me? So many people are struggling. Let's be part of the solution!
