Good morning everyone, I meet with the Representative on Friday. Just a quick meeting to update him on the petition. He said that we could also contact Representative Katie Edwards-Walpole she represents part of Broward County. This is a bill she introduced: General Bill by Edwards; Inmates and Higher Education: Removes provision prohibiting certain state funds from being used for education of inmates; removes provision prohibiting use of state funds for education of inmates; removes provision prohibiting instruction of inmates from being included in specified enrollment for certain funding. Effective Date: July 1, 2018 Last Event: Now in Higher Education Appropriations Subcommittee on Friday, December 08, 2017 3:44 PM I have added on my website a page for volunteers. I would like to have volunteers from all 4 regions to talk to the Senators and Represent ivies. They will be more likely to listen if the request comes from their constituents.
