It is evident that the current restrictions on the ownership of firearms is against the very foundation of this country. The second amendment protects all other rights both for the masses and the individual. These rights are unique to our country and are unfortunately becoming even more unique. I propose that we repeal the NFA in order to give the people of this great nation the best possible chance in the preservation of these rights, the ability to take on with confidence any enemy that would levy war against the state or the people be it foreign or domestic. Let us honor the countless sacrifices of our patriots by taking back our responsibility. In the immortal words of Benjamin Franklin “Those who would give up liberties for safety shall receive niether”.
