The Republican effort to repeal Obamacare and give a huge tax cut to the wealthy has already hit some serious stumbling blocks. But the New York Times is reporting that the Koch brothers are about to launch a big money new AstroTurf campaign to push Republicans to repeal the Affordable Care Act NOW. These super-rich conservatives have already spent hundreds of millions of dollars on campaign contributions and ads calling for repeal. We know they will NOT go down without a fight. That's why we need to double down on our people-powered resistance, every week until TrumpCare is dead -- all while keeping up the fight for a public option, single payer, and healthcare for all. Will you chip in to help keep up the momentum and stop the repeal of the Affordable Care Act? Donate at www.acuinaction.org Another group taking aim at Republicans on a repeal of the Affordable Care Act is FreedomWorks, a Super PAC that gets most of its funding from corporations and a few super-rich conservatives. In fact, FreedomWorks started out as a Koch brothers front group called "Citizens for a Sound Economy." Now they're funded by Richard Stephenson, a millionaire hospital executive, and Ayn Rand devotee. These are the same people who helped to jump-start the Tea Party, and now they're freaking out that it seems the American people actually LIKE having health care. Florida Working Families Party organizers have been keeping up the drumbeat of public opposition to the repeal of the Affordable Care Act and the rest of the Trump agenda at Resist Trump Tuesdays. Next week, we plan to double down on our resistance strategy of protesting in front of congressional offices and at town hall meetings -- especially targeting Republican members of Congress from districts where Donald Trump lost. Will you chip in to keep the resistance growing? Donate a www.acuinaction.org Yes, I'll chip in to keep the resistance going and stop the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
