UPS and Fedex drivers are being targeted more and more by theives. As a UPS drivers wife, this hits to close to home. Just today in Clear Lake, TX a FedEx driver was held at gun point and robbed. Criminals know delivery trucks are full of valuables purchased online. They also know that there is only one person in the way, and he/she is unarmed. There are no measures taken to protect the lives of the drivers by the employer, making them easy targets. UPS and fedex drivers that are law obiding, responsible CHL holders, should be able to carry a weapon on the job. Once it's known that driver may be armed, criminals will think twice about pulling a weapon and stealing those boxes. Self defense is a GOD given constitutional right!
