Put John Adams' face on currency

The Issue

There are about four or five major Founding Fathers in American History. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and Alexander Hamilton... All of them are well respected and are known for doing a lot to create the nation we all live in.

However, one has been forgotten by the United States Government. John Adams.

Some may not know what incredible things John Adams did for the foundations of the United States. Some may be questioning why I even put him in the "Major Founding Fathers".

Aptly put... John Adams was the voice of reason within the country when it was first being created. He was a lawman who helped forge the earliest laws, he was the voice that held Congress together when they nearly split in half while determining whether or not they should rebel, and he secured our early alliances with France and the Netherlands.

He was also a major advocate for Woman's Rights, and the abolition of Slavery. He was one of the many who ensured that Slavery was not put onto the Constitution in order to ensure that it could eventually be made illegal. His wife was America's first Feminist, and he himself held her views and considered her an intellectual equal.

John Adams was a good politician. He was liberally minded, and gifted in law.

But for some reason, the Government has chosen to forget everything he did for the United States. There are no monuments to him in the country. His face has never really been on currency.

But why? Surely he deserves it just as much as the likes of Hamilton, Franklin, and Jefferson.

Well I want to change that. It's time John Adams got the respect he deserves for his place in American History. I want the U.S. Government to start printing currency, any currency, with his face on it, at the very least. I believe that he truly deserves it.
