Friends,

It's 4 a.m. and has been roughly 10 hours since I created and launched this petition Thursday afternoon thru one facebook post and shares to industry focused Facebook groups along with family friends.  In that short time we have reached 10,000 strong with each and everyone one of your help, but we all know there over million more families and workers through out our industry who still need to join us in one voice to call our federal government to action to save our industry and nations economy from collapse. We are too big to fail and we have to let them know.

Seeing this response is bittersweet as I feel and share so much pain for each and everyone one of you who has commented on the devastation you are personally facing.  

Today, my team is going to build on our momentum.  Over the night we have launched www.event-industry-aid.com as a place to gather and dispense information and resource related to our developing petition and coalition. 

Most importantly on this site we setup a means for the people in our industry to share their personal stories related to this catastrophe and to gather these stories to put in front of any advocacy efforts.  

I need you to keep sharing and promoting this via any means you have available.  We are starting to form movement across all areas of our industry that can only multiply if each of us choses not to give up.

There are many more developments that will happen today as we work toward saving our industry and we will work hard to keep you updated on how we can further our movement. Please stay tuned for more details to come, but for now I need at least a few hours of sleep.
