Today is the first day of the living wage coming into force. On the surface, the living wage sounds great, but in reality for B&Q staff this means from today we will be stripped of our Sunday and bank holiday pay, bonuses and no longer eligible for UK cost of living allowance. I've been contacted all day by the media to hear what is really happening behind the scenes of this unfair move by B&Q, including the BBC and Channel 4.
