Kahele is a current lieutenant colonel with Hawaii Air National Guard, United States Air Force; and current State Senator.  A strong advocate for the military and a decorated combat veteran with the Hawaii Air National Guard.  He is an amazing addition to Congress as a representative of Hawaii.
