143 Years Later, the Lough Mask Case Is Back in the News

I had to share this update.
The Lough Mask murders happened in 1882. Michael Flynn, Thomas Higgins and Patrick “Long” Higgins were executed in Galway in January 1883.
Now, 143 years later, the case is in the Galway news again.
The Connacht Tribune published a story by journalist Avril Horan about the case, my connection to Michael Flynn, the evidence I’ve been researching, and why I’m asking Ireland to independently examine the surviving evidence.
There is something pretty wild about sitting here in Pennsylvania researching a case from 1882 and then seeing the names Michael Flynn, Thomas Higgins and Patrick “Long” Higgins back in a Galway newspaper 143 years later.
Thank you to Avril Horan and the Connacht Tribune for taking the time to tell this story, and to everyone who has signed and shared this petition.
143 years later, the Lough Mask case is back in the news. And we’re not done yet.
