Why is this so important?

Today would have been Joanna's birthday, so for us it has really hit home what an important cause this is, as we don't wish to see other people suffering from a preventable illness. We have really seen far too much of this, especially through the work we do within our small national charity. Surely it's about time the Food Standards Agency and the Government got to grips with food bourne illness. This is why we encourage you to spread the word, whether this be through posting a link to this page on Facebook, or taking a minute to tweet about a cause that is close to our hearts. Any form of help would be appreciated. We would also like to thank everyone who has signed and supported the petitions to date, we really can't explain how much it means to us! This affects real lives, so why should people have to suffer the devastating consequences?
