Judicial rulings: Gray Wolf status under the ESA.

This year there have been two major judicial decisions that impact the status of the Gray Wolf under the ESA:

1. In March 2017, a federal appeals court ruled to delist the Rocky Mountain Gray Wolf population in Wyoming; you can read the court order here: https://www.cadc.uscourts.gov/internet/opinions.nsf/E2381C96826F09F4852580D80057B29F/$file/14-5300-1664135.pdf.
2. In August 2017, a federal appeals court ruled to keep the Great Lakes Gray Wolf listed. You can read the court order here: https://www.cadc.uscourts.gov/internet/opinions.nsf/9EDB5CE0814D2B948525816F00511636/$file/15-5041.pdf.

Predictably, politicians have introduced more anti-wolf legislation to delist the Great Lakes Gray Wolf and/or make the delisting of the Rocky Mountain Gray Wolf in Wyoming permanent. We must continue fighting to make sure that anti-wolf legislation is not passed into law!
