Write your objection to the council tonight before the weekend is over

☀️As we wind down on this beautiful Sunday evening, many of us are sitting in our gardens enjoying a quiet night in with our families.
But as we look out at our peaceful neighbourhood right now at 7:30pm we need to talk about what our reality will be just three hours from now if the stadium management get their way.

‼️Changing our summer evenings forever
🗓️The council has just extended the planning deadline to Thursday, 27th August.
This gives us a vital window to stand up and protect our homes, but it means we need to act right now.
✍️ Signing this petition alone is not enough. We need you to please write an object via the LBRUT council planning portal.
We are normal local families, we support the rugby, and we have proudly lived alongside the stadium for decades.
But being a good neighbour is a two-way street. There is a massive difference between a few historic weekend rugby matches a year, and facing total transport gridlock almost every single weekend of the summer.
⚠️If this extreme 400% commercial increase is approved, this is what will become our new normal:
The midnight disruption: 75,000 fans being dumped onto our residential streets at half-past ten at night, with shouting, anti-social behaviour, and crowds trying to get home well beyond midnight right outside our front gates while our children are trying to sleep.
Our Summer peace gone forever: Massive industrial logistics trucks, constant low-frequency sound testing, and streets under siege almost every weekend of the summer holidays.
Our streets completely overwhelmed: Our roads and our single train line simply do not have the capacity to handle this scale of late-night crowd dispersal.
Our petition has never said no to concerts altogether; we fully accept their current legal three-concert cap limit. But fifteen dates is an impossible scale for a quiet residential area, and it speaks volumes that the RFU have completely refused to talk to us as local residents and wouldn't even turn up to face the BBC cameras this week.

✉️Write your official objection letter: Go to the Richmond Planning Portal, search for reference PA26/2057, and log your formal objection.
Tell the Case Officer that our roads and our single train line cannot handle this late-night scale.
