📣 Community Update: Nearly 300 Signatures — Warragamba Is Showing Up

We are now sitting at 298 signatures, which is huge considering this petition started back in 2025 with a simple goal: keep Warragamba Pool open all year so locals can actually use the facilities we already have.

Over the past year and a bit, the support has kept growing. People have shared stories about winter training, kids needing a safe place to swim, seniors wanting regular exercise, and families who rely on the pool as one of the few affordable recreation options in the area. Every signature shows council that this is not a small issue. It is a real community need.

The legislation that forces the winter shutdown is decades old and does not match the size or lifestyle of Warragamba today. With new programs like Aquaaerobics and more people using the pool year round, it is clear the community is ready for modern access.
