STEP 1 -- Downloading the Music Download one or all of the following excerpts to sing dancing, play, painting along to. This will be the song for the video and is a rough demo. Use your creativity and show us your artistic abilities! We are looking for dancers, instrumentalists, singers, painters, sculptors, pottery artists, animators, sketch artists and any other art form! MUSIC DOWNLOAD LINK: https://goo.gl/TKzgkX STEP 1 -- How to film your videos A) The submitted videos will be placed into real picture frames within the music video. Your video can be filmed in a taller frame (portrait) or a wider frame (landscape) depending on the action. For example, dancing probably makes sense in a landscape frame because there is movement side to side, but an individual singer or instrument player probably makes sense in a portrait frame. B) Once you decide, film it with the camera or phone upright or sideways accordingly and in HD video mode if possible. Daylight is always best or bright even light. Keep video length around 1 minute in length. (Even if your camera displays the video sideways, no worries, we will convert it to be right-side up after we get it.) STEP 2 -- Sending us your video via WeTransfer WeTransfer is a simple method for sending video files as long as they are smaller than 2GB (your video files will most likely be within this range). If you have a file larger than 2GB, please let us know and we will provide separate instructions. A) Go to https://wetransfer.com (It might ask you to try their new WeTransfer Plus, if so just click "Take me to Free") B) Click the "I agree" button on the left C) Click the + icon and select the file you want to upload, then click the "open" button D) In the "email to" field, please send to: SavetheNEAvideo@gmail.com E) Please type your email address in the next field so we can reply directly to you in reference to your video if necessary. F) Click the Transfer button and please keep your browser window open until it fully finishes transferring. ALTERNATE STEP 2 (smartphone or tablet) If you need to send a file directly from your smartphone or tablet, download the free WeTransfer App (It will say "WeTransfer B.V." under it and has a black and white "we" icon) The app will ask to access your camera roll (or something similar) -- make sure to give it access or else it won't be able to access your video you created.
