Thank you to each of you for signing and sharing the petition and for giving to bring 100s of artists together including many incredible names including Peter Hollens, The Yale Glee Club, Leah Pipes, Aaron Lazar, Sarah Mearns and so many more!
If you are considering giving, just know that if 100 people give $100 or 1000 people give $10 each, we are there! Thank you to each of you for being a part of signing the petition and helping us protect Arts funding in America!
Indianapolis is standing up and doing its part to fight for the Arts and Humanities! The Protect the Arts Concert is a free art and music festival hosted by the local funk band Audiodacity. The event is designed to raise awareness for the arts and provide a way for people to sign the petition that’s already 37,000 strong. We want to show congress just how important the Arts and Humanities are not only to Indianapolis, but the entire Nation. From 12pm to 8pm on February 19th, we will host two stages featuring some of the finest musicians Indianapolis has to offer, and throughout the day many of our fantastic local artists will be creating and performing various forms of live art.
Help us spread the word about this event, and we hope to see those of you that are close to Indianapolis come out and fight the good fight with us!
