We want to share an important update with our supporters.

We strongly encourage all Learn2Dive participants and families to retain their space for as long as possible to help maintain the programme and demonstrate continued demand.

The council plan to release communication on Friday stating that:

• Access to the 3m and 5m boards will be removed from Monday 20th April
• Diving will be fully discontinued in Summer 2026
• Learn2Dive participants will be asked whether they wish to retain their lesson space

This is the first time these plans have been communicated to us, despite being told to wait for updates.

If implemented, this will remove the only diving facility in the West of Scotland and end access to the sport locally.

We strongly urge all Learn2Dive participants and families to keep their space for as long as possible to maintain the programme and demonstrate demand.

We will update again once the council makes their position public.
