In 2014 Laurence Kirschel the freeholder-landlord-developer and MD of Consolidated made it known that he intended all of the flats and shops in Denmark St to be on Six Month Rolling Leases with short eviction/terminations built into every leaseholder agreement. A section 106 Deal, which we at Save TPA presided over with Planners at Camden Council was meant ensure three year leases for all of the existing music shops and related music businesses in TPA. We gather that hardly anyone yet has a lease deal over six months duration! The exception being Music Sales who allegedly have shares in Consolidated. They have a ten year lease it is claimed.
