In all the excitement of my last update I forgot to include the link to the online consultation that Chester and Cheshire West Council are conducting about their plans to criminalise rough sleeping and 'unauthorised' busking in the city.
Please take a moment to respond to the consultation if you can, it does make a difference. With your help, we can stop the PSPO in Chester, just as we have now done in Birmingham:

We will be staging a public 'sleep in' outside Chester Town Hall this Thursday from 11:45 am followed by the 'Sleepwalk Express' tour of Chester as comedian and activist Mark Thomas and friends push a mobile bed around the boundary of the proposed Public Space Protection Order area whilst it is still legal to lie down in public.
Thanks once again for your support for our campaign to keep public spaces open to informal offerings of art and music,
Kind regards,
