Whereas cats are superior to dogs in every measurable way; and 

Whereas the city of Reykjavik, Iceland realised this and went so far as to ban dogs from Reykjavik from 1924-1984; and

Whereas, as part of Pet Rights Week, the dogs of the world have issued a petition to demand the city of Reykjavik issue an apology to dogs everywhere; and

Whereas that would be ridiculous, because dogs deserve to be banned; then

Be it resolved that the cats of the world beseech the city of Reykjavik to ignore the petition and refuse to apologise to the dogs.
