Domestic Abuse Suicide Recognition Law
This change reflects exactly what we are fighting for recognition, accountability, and real change within the system.
Since 2020, over 200 people every year have died by suicide in Northern Ireland.
But we still don’t know how many of those deaths were linked to domestic abuse because it is not recorded or recognised.
This is why this campaign matters.
We are also beginning to engage in important conversations and communications and we will continue to push this forward.
