I regret to inform you about a new round of government primate abuse.

As I write this, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) plans to massively INCREASE spending on these tests - some of the very worst in the entire federal government - and you will be TAXED to pay for it!

DEADLINE:  please sign and share this new taxpayer's petition to try to block NIH's spending spree!

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Stacy Lopresti-Goodman.   I'm an associate professor of psychology at Marymount University.

My academic research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Neuroscience Letters, Behavioral Sciences, and the Journal of Trauma & Dissociation.  My work has been featured in the Washington Post, Nature, and NPR.

As a psychologist, I've documented and diagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in primate lab survivors. I've worked with these victims of wasteful government spending:

  • Extreme Pain:  holes are drilled into their skulls. Electrodes are implanted into their brains. NIH bureaucrats often deny pain relief and anesthesia.
  • Psychological Torment:  babies are ripped away from their mothers right after birth. They're locked in tiny cages for years and forcibly addicted to cocaine and heroin.
  • Escalating Crisis:  "Record number of monkeys being used in U.S. research." –Science Magazine

NIH's maximum pain experiments are increasing at an alarming rate — a whopping 370% rise!

"Bill Moves to End NIH Monkey Business" – Washington Examiner

I started this taxpayer's petition to stop NIH's spending spree on painful primate tests.

TIME-SENSITIVE OPPORTUNITY:  We've rallied the House to take action, but the Senate hasn't stepped up yet. Please sign/share this urgent petition to make it happen!

Thanks,

Stacy Lopresti-Goodman, Ph.D.

---------------

To stop taxpayer-funded animal tests, we must first stop the $15 billion+ in wasteful government spending.

We find, expose, and de-fund wasteful government spending on animal experiments. To change public policy, we unite liberty lovers and animal lovers with hard-hitting investigations and public policy campaigns.

Help free all 10,000 primates still imprisoned at the NIH!
