Dog groomers know that it's risky shaving a matted dog . So much so that some groomers require the owner to sign a waiver or refuse to do it altogether.  We have never done that but I must say it's not fun shaving a severally matted dog for us or the dog and I'm a professional who's shaved 100's of matted pets.  Many pet owners are going to take it upon themselves to tackle their dogs matts which will inevitably result in injuries that will require a trip to the vet for stitches.  That is why believe dog grooming is an essential service for the health and well being of animals.  Thanks to all who have signed this petition.  Please share this petition with everyone you know.  We have to look out for our beloved pets and bring their needs to those in authority who can make the necessary changes.
