It's always a shock that in no time a "don't paint the plane" type of petition will get 100,000s of signatures in 3 days, but a petition to help the world's poorest is, sadly, more of a challenge.  Nonetheless, the most successful petition of millions got off to a slow start and 269 signatues is also a good start.
