Use and Sale of Fireworks restricted in the District of Lakeland
0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!
In the past number of years, the use of fireworks in the District of Lakeland has become alarming. They are readily available and are set off randomly at any time, any night of the week. They are very loud and very disturbing to:
People who need to get up to go to work, dogs, children trying to sleep, babies trying to sleep and anyone with a sensitivity to loud noises. They can start fires and trigger PTSD in some individuals. Fireworks are often used by people who are under the influence and have impaired judgement.
My petition to see them restricted to special occasions and by permit only. My petition includes the ban of sale of fireworks in the District of Lakeland.
