Perumbakkam, near Medavakkam is a beautifully located integrated township where-in thousands of people lives and it is one of the main area from entire Chennai is getting excellent drinking water.

In the last one plus years, the local panchayat is dumping waste near the small hills ( place near to Bollineni Hills Side Apartments), which is an area owned by Archeological Survey of India, considering its prominent and natural resources. This is getting damaged by the act of some miscreants by dumping the wastes, which will lead to creating another crisis what we are facing in areas like Perungudi etc and also damage the drinking water source.
