I'm deeply concerned about the current state of our nation and the future we are leaving for our young people. We are all feeling the pinch with fuel costs skyrocketing, the cost of living reaching unprecedented levels, and young talent being driven to emigrate in search of better opportunities abroad. The housing crisis is another bitter reality with exorbitant prices and crippling shortages rendering homeownership a dream out of reach for many. Moreover, precious tax-payer money is being squandered on ineffective policies and there are unresolved border issues that threaten our stability and peace.

The current government seems insensible to the struggles we face daily. It's time for a change—a change in leadership, vision, and strategies that actually resonate with and address the concerns of ordinary citizens. Our faith in the government has eroded, and what we need now is a leadership that listens to the people it's supposed to serve.

This is why I urge for the dissolution of the Dáil, followed by a recall election. We need to give the power back to the people through a referendum that forces a general election. Let us voice our lack of confidence in the current government and strive for a leadership that truly represents us and our needs.
