To those interested, there is a new petition that asks for new merchandise to be made in 2019 based on "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary. Among the merchandise suggested that could be made to celebrate the series' 25th anniversary include making the complete series available on DVD and Blu-Ray with new bonus features and high definition picture quality, new retro action figures based on the animated series similar to the current DC Collectibles line of "Batman: The Animated Series" figures and releasing the musical score from the cartoon on CD and ITunes.
