Its 2011, Im 16 stuck rotting away in a foster home in Minneapolis MN counting the days until I turn 18 so I can escape the insantiy that is my life. Often times I would find myself melted into the couch escaping into magical worlds in books like eragon or the chronicles of narnia but eventiaully I had worked my way through most of the classics and anything new I could get my adolescent hands on when I was flipping through tv one day and I had settled on an episode of modern family and it went to commercial break and all of a sudden I was finding myself watching a trailer for a new show coming out and it had gripped my interest almost immidiatly as I was a big disney nerd.

  A show about classic fairytale charectors existing in our universe, a show dripped in pure fantasy and magic and boom title card the show was called ONCE Upon a time. that was it I was already hooked and the rest was history. from there on every week for 6 years I tuned in and followed along with Emma, Snow, charming and the rest of the gang for their weekly adventures. I couldnt help but gasp at the similarites to both myself and emma, both growing up in foster systems in the same state and sometimes cities both having the same yearning for a sense of belonging and family as many foster kids before us have. It added a completly new level of connection with the show to the point that somewhere halfway between Arendelle and the Underworld I found myself thinking of these characters not just as these fictional people but in someway they had started to become like family. It was a show where when it first began the writing was just so riveting and the mysetries and the twists were so good that you couldnt help yourself but to become attached to the charecters and it wasnt just me millions of people across the globe were in the same boat. captured and enamored by this cast of interesting people.

 by season 7 there seemed to not be anywhere to really take most of the charactors and instead of doing maybe a season focused on some of the background charectors like mulan, red, elsa or aurora and followed the adventures of cast we knew and loved which is what I would have done they decided to reboot the show which would have been great if it was done now but alas they shot themselves in the foot and sadly the show was canceled half way through season 7. despite the dip in quality of the show I think what never waivered was the sheer humanity and sense of hope the show brought to its audience. theres somthing very naustolgic now about shows that were a fantasy adventure of the week type show.

 they dont make those any more shows like merlin, timeless, atlantis, legend of the seeker, xena, buffy or once. Im sure many of you who sign the petition feel the same. Once ended almost 4 years ago now and I dont know about you guys but I would really love to see what the gang is up to these days. I would like to petition disney to greenlight a 2 hour once upon a time christmas special.

 I miss these guys so much, I miss my family and even if its not scripted at least a reunion special celebrating the 10 year anniversary would be cool. to not offend some cultures it could be called something else, they could bring back elsa and anna, we could finally get sebastion stan back as mad hatter or get closer for lilly and maleficent or maybe that could be a spin off if the special is a success... ONCE Upon A Time: The Unfinshed Stories and you could do the skins treatement where you do a 3 epsiode arc focusing on different unfinished stories and for the love of all things holy can we get a gay prince or two lol, i know disney is not a big fan of us which makes me sad considering its 2021 but lets try and include us if we are to go back to the united realms!

Disney if you see this it would be a fairly inexpensive thing to do a 2 hour special and lets be honest you guys desperatly need some new material for disney plus that isnt star wars or marvel and I really think ONCE is a strong enough brand to invest in and I know the cast would be more than down to reprise their roles.
