Clearing footpath encroachment - took a year, but was done

Thanks to you all for your support, while it took a year, the footpath was finally cleared of the illegal encroachment. It was amusing to hear the encroacher demand the officials that he be provided an alternate place before he moves out ;-). While the encroachment started with one person, it grew into a multi-family establishment of multiple shops side-by-side. While they claimed to be from Odisha, I seriously doubt that and they appeared to be an illegal immigrant. I am hoping our government would take note of such encroachment across our cities and on highways both to keep our cities clean and to avoid security issues.
