As you may know, Bill 28 - the deliberately unconstitutional Ontario law which unilaterally imposes terms on the province's educational workers - has received royal assent.
The 55,000 members of OSBCU - the provincial association negotiating for these workers - are now being threatened with fines of $4000/day for their legal strike action.
People in labour circles are beginning to realize that this could mean the end of real collective bargaining in every province across Canada.
Please share this widely across Canada, and get the whole country to see the dire consequences of this assault on labour rights.
Help people join us in demanding that the Federal Government protect our rights. Today, it is Educational Assistants, Office Administrators and Caretakers in Ontario. Tomorrow, it could be anyone. Please keep fighting.
Thank you,
Patrick
