Zerita Rice lost her son  in LaVergne Tn due to an illness. Mrs. Rice is grieving the loss of her son! She asked the Principal Dirk Ash if she could walk in her son's place and was told it would disrespect the Class of 2018!! Seriously from what I hear and I have 2 daughters that attend LaVergne High School! They want Mrs. Rice  to walk in cap and gown on her son's behalf! If you agree that they should let a grieving mother to accept a diploma her son worked for before being leaving this world way to early!
