Pangolin is highly threaten because of poaching and wildlife trafficking.Although there will be action taken to those who were found guilty of poaching or possessing pangolin,but this is not enough to protect them as pangolin is currently in schedule 2 so they are only partially protected.Upgrading them to schedule 1 is crucial as this will hopefully provide them full law protection.If pangolin is not fully protected,our future generation will not be able to see them.Besides law enforcement,public awareness should be also made to teach people not to hunt and consume pangolin as this is the main threat to the pangolin especially in Malaysia.Pangoling might be used as a part of traditional clothing and medicine but it need to be stop now as their population are on the brink of extinction.Nobody needs pangolin scale except for pangolin.
