If any of you know Jill Egizii than you know she's a kind and caring woman who was an advocate for homeless animals in our area. She has been recently dismissed from Sangamon County Animal Control by the director Jim Stone, leaving many of us stunned and puzzled as to why after all the great things she's done? After my mom lost her 15 year old dog she found Sophie thanks to Jill. Sophie filled the hole in her heart. Jill took Sophie to training and paid for it out of her own pocket. She has found countless dogs great homes and saved them from being euthanized. The dogs still needing homes at SCAC need Jill now more than ever. I do not know the circumstances behind Jim Stones actions but nothing will convince me that it was the right thing to do. The entire community should be on fire right now and if dogs do indeed die because of Jims actions, I hope he can't sleep at night. Please sign this petition so that maybe we can change Jims mind or someone looks into the careless decision he has made.
