Paramedic Jeff Gaglio is an asset to the city of Detroit, and obviously a caring man. It is his job to care for people in emergency situations. Firing Mr. Gaglio for giving an elderly man, a victim of a house fire, standing outside in the cold in only his underwear while his house was burning, does not fit the description of what an EMS technician should do. He was not giving away drugs or equipment but was merely helping an elderly man stay warm. Besides, the blanket was donated!!! Give back Mr. Gaglio's job and pay him any lost wages due to this ridiculous act by Jerald James!
