Tēnā koe Ana

I am referring to Destiny Church Auckland Trust, registration number CC29039. Nevertheless if Destiny Church Christchurch are guilty of the same issues I would like to include them as well.

I believe that Destiny Church Auckland are seriously and deliberately contravening the Charities Act 2005. I believe their conduct amounts to serious wrongdoing that amounts to an offence under the act. The conduct in question is their actions and political statements to their followers to remain unvaccinated and to break the law on gathering at protest events. They are inciting political and unlawful unrest. It is a course of conduct that constitutes a serious risk to the public interest in the orderly and appropriate conduct of the affairs of the entity and their followers.

I believe their conduct is putting their followers at serious risk of harm contrary to the intention of a charity to protect and benefit the public.

I believe

(a)

the entity is not, or is no longer, qualified for registration as a charitable entity due to its serious wrongdoing.

(b)

there has been a significant or persistent failure by the entity to meet its obligations under this Act or any other enactment, demonstrated by Brian Tamaki’s persistent breaking of the law directing and organising public protest events that breach the governments ruling in respect of Covid 19.

(c)

there has been a significant or persistent failure by any 1 or more of the officers of the entity to meet their obligations under this Act,

demonstrated by Brian Tamaki’s persistent breaking of the law directing and organising public protest events that breach the governments ruling in respect of Covid 19.

(e)

the entity has engaged in serious wrongdoing or any person has engaged in serious wrongdoing in connection with the entity,

demonstrated by Brian Tamaki’s persistent breaking of the law directing and organising public protest events that breach the governments ruling in respect of Covid 19.

I understood Charities were meant to be apolitical.

I believe the nature and level of the risk relating to the issue is sufficient to warrant investigation as peoples lives are potentially at risk.

There are over 67,0000 people that think their charitable registration should be revoked.

Lastly, I am aware from the news that Destiny Church are already at risk of losing their charitable status due to their failure to post accounts since 2015. I do hope that my petition will be considered alongside that investigation as evidence that the Destiny Church is not a reputable organisation worthy of charitable status.

Best wishes

Derek Cantona
