Now this is a great example of #Love4OneAnother. The photo above is of a banner which was painstakingly created by Prince a 'fam' in the UK which consists of the faces of Prince fam within Prince's face. Another fam created a guitar with a list of Prince fam names to place on "the fence", (which Paisley Park administrators allowed to be functioning during the month of April). Both of these individuals did this with their only motivation and compensation being their love for Prince and his fam. And where did they place it? At Paisley Park of course! This should illustrate the magnitude of importance of Paisley Park holds for all of us and for the future fam, and why we need ALL of Prince fam to support,sign and share this petition. If you've signed it once, then share it again, far and wide. Prince has millions of fans and the force and power of the 'Prince Army' / 'Purple Army' is without question. It is up to us to get Paisley Park designated as a National Historic Landmark. The major protection is that it cannot be demolished, but the ownership remains private. Once designated, the federal government program even pays for continuing maintenance via grants, and provides for free inspection so as to ensure the integrity of the structure on an on-going basis. We do not do this for ourselves, we do it for Prince and for his beloved Paisley Park. For, if we don't, once we are gone, it will not be protected, and the legacy of PP could be lost. It is up to us to get this done NOW, while we are all still here, that's what an army does, it fights for the protection of what is important. (Again, the family is dealing with numerous issues of high priority which requires their immediate attention, but in the interim, we must continue to gather sufficient signatures so that the true number of Prince fam can be represented, and, so that the place where his legacy continued to be created and formed will be protected forever.)
