Traffic Light installation on a very dangerous street

Traffic Light installation on a very dangerous street
The Issue
On December 15, 2015 I was hit by a speeding car on Allen Rd at the intersection of Patriot Hill/Hamilton Woods and Allen Rd. I suffered a severely damaged left leg, requiring 5 major surgeries in 14 days and my 2 dogs were killed.
Now that I am semi recovered I have consistently had to walk out to stop traffic, get out of my car and stop traffic so that people can safely cross the road to get to Rite Aid, other neighborhoods. It seems our main road has now become a raceway. The other night I clocked several cars going 60+ miles and hour.
This situation is completely out of hand. My complaints to the police have fallen on deaf ears and since it is a public road I have been stonewalled at every attempt to rectify the issue.
I am putting together a petition and a new e-mail address for this very issue. I hope to get enough response to bring the issue to light at the local government level. I am proposing a light at the Rite Aid entrance and flashing red/yellow lights with walk capabilities at 3 other neighborhood entrances.
If you are interested in helping me make our "Hills" safer please repond to this posting. The e-mail address and facebook page will be up shortly.
Thanks for your anticipated help
