DePauw Board of Trustees out of Harmful Politics

DePauw Board of Trustees out of Harmful Politics
The Issue
DePauw Board of Trustees should pledge to make no political contributions to harmful candidates in the upcoming 2018 election cycle.
Using the Federal Election Commission's database of publicly disclosed campaign donations, we found some alarming things.
Twenty-four DePauw Board of Trustees have donated to at least 46 politicians that consistently create and vote for policies that harm DePauw students. These politicians regulate women's bodies, do not support a solution to DACA recipients, and created a tax code that punishes higher education. DePauw says that they support women and people of color, stand with DACA status students, and advocate for institutions of higher learning.
Our money is not where our mouth is.
