We have seen numerous iconic landmarks around world being lighted up at night in a wonderful display of lights and sounds, such as Niagara Falls in New York, Table Mountain in South Africa, the Great Pyramids of Giza, Eiffel Tower of Paris, Colosseum of Rome, Statue of Liberty of New York, and Burj Khalifa of Dubai.

Imagine now if we also light up one of our famous natural landmarks, which we Filipinos can definitely show to the world as our very own iconic landmark.

MAJESTIC MAYON LIGHTING PROJECT is envisioned by Ako Bicol Partylist and Albay Governor Al Francis C. Bichara which is in line with the Duterte Administration’s national goal in providing more jobs and sources of livelihood for all Filipinos specifically for all Bicolanos, through the benefits that will be gained from the increase of tourist arrivals in the Bicol Region.

The economic boom that will be generated by the MAJESTIC MAYON LIGHTING PROJECT will positively impact the tourism industry of the Bicol Region which will lead to increase of business opportunities in Hotels, Transportation, Restaurants, Tours and Sightseeing, Local Products and offered Activities and Experiences.

This act of Ako Bicol Partylist will definitely contribute to the national target of 83.7 Million domestic and foreign tourist arrivals and will create more than 6 million new jobs for the Bicol Region and earn to almost Php 30 Billion tourism revenue within just 5 years.
