WILL JUDGE ANNA BROWN EXTEND PROFESSIONAL COURTESY TO OREGON LEGISLATORS?

As the old joke goes, "Why don't sharks eat lawyers?" Answer: "Professional courtesy". In this case, we have 3 legislators, one being a lawyer, who think they are too important to do their civic duty and testify about their knowledge of circumstances surrounding the ambush of Ryan Bundy and his friends. Of course, Judge Anna Brown will extend every courtesy to these V.I.P.'s who can't be seen stooping to something so low as testifying in a matter involving a simple cowboy in a prison jumpsuit and chains. That is beneath their dignity! Why is it important for them to testify? 1. Ryan has asked for their emails and other written communications that have anything to do with the standoff. This is not too much to ask. If they, like a lot of politicians, decided to exert any influence in getting the matter resolved in favor of the government, then that is relevant to the case and could be a basis for dismissal if undue influence was used. 2. If they, as elected officials, failed to get involved at the request of constituents who sought to have them review current legislation regarding the wildlife refuge or other related matters pertaining to their arrest and detention, then that is relevant and should be entered as evidence. 3. Ryan also has a right to get them sworn under oath for cross examination as to what oral communications they might have engaged in. Ryan may have other relevant reasons I am not aware of but the subpoena should apply to all citizens, including government politicians. Politicians exempt themselves from a lot of things like Obamacare and Social Security. Why do they have to be treated as nobility, exempt from what ordinary citizens must submit to? And, why do we, the common people, allow this kind of behavior to go on?
