Petition updateRYAN BUNDY, NEVER CONVICTED, BEATEN UP BY STAFF IN PRISON WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION

A BATTERED RYAN BUNDY YELLED AT BY JUDGE ANNA BROWN

Action at Law for Grand Jury AccessCedar City, UT, United States
Aug 24, 2016
Appearing in court for juror selection, Ryan Bundy looked thin with large circles under his eyes and obvious bruises on his head from the earlier beating. When asked if he had anything to say, Ryan Bundy began challenging the underlying reason that they were in court, i.e., the government’s position that they owned the land where the refuge was located. Ryan began reading from the constitution and in a fit of rage, Anna Brown cut Ryan off and told him she would not allow him to continue as that matter had already been litigated and was not within the scope of the trial that she had defined. She angrily yelled that if he continued, she would not allow him to represent himself. Ryan calmly said he would continue as the matter had not been settled as to federal ownership of the wildlife refuge and that it was fundamentally unconstitutional and continued to read. Kelli Stewart, a representative of the patriot prisoners and a court watcher, claimed that the extreme bias of the judge and prosecutors was so nauseating that she had to literally leave court because she was feeling ill. On Facebook, she gives an eyewitness account of the appalling behavior of the judge in allowing prospective jurors to remain in the jury pool in spite of extreme bias against the prisoners. In her recorded message, she left with a feeling of utter hopelessness and said, “that we are screwed”, so uneven is the playing field. Please continue to share this petition with the hope that somehow, somewhere justice may be served.
