Since early 2018, it's been an up and down battle between the two opposing political parties in Libmanan, Camarines Sur. The incumbent and duly elected Mayor was continuously being suspended and replaced by other politicians who by dismay have different agenda on how they would want to run the local government. This brought confusion and disarray to the government body. Public services who have been vital to the people are now suspended not to mention the plea of hundreds of employees who at present times haven't yet received their 4 months worth of salary. It's hard to imagine the toll it brings to their families. Some employees resort to loans just to survive. Currently, the Municipal Building of Libmanan was cut off from the power grid due to unsettled electrical bills.

The problem would be solved once the DILG had decided on who should have the authority to sign government transactions, cheques and contract. On behalf of the people of Libmanan, we would like to call on the Department of Interior and Local Government headed by Secretary Eduardo Año to act on this matter immediately as it is the agenda of Duterte Administration to respond to its people's plea swiftly away from too much bureaucracy and political rivalry.
