So, it seems that government have removed the requirement that you must have 25% damage in your home to apply for disaster assistance. Mould is now included however it must be due to water leakage or water in the walls. It also must be on the house steuctyre and not personal items. That does not satisfy aim here and we are not done.

We still aim to have some assistance for those have missed 5 days + work, those who's belongings are damaged by mould from moisture rather than direct water and many other unfortunate circumstances that are directly caused by this natural disaster.

People will continue to say that the government is not responsible for this, but they are. We pay taxes so they can take care of us. They fix the roads, they build our schools and I'm sure they can look after us in a natural disaster too.
